AS OF YOU GUYS KNOW THAT I HAVE CREATED THIS SITE FOR A REASON.BECAUSE OF DEEP INTEREST IN BLOGGING,I HAVE STARTED IT.EARLIER I DO NOT HAVE ANY PERMISSIONS TO DO IT FROM MY HOME.WHEN I STARTED IT.I INSTALLED GOOGLE ADSENSE ON IT.TO GAIN SOME MONEY FROM IT AS IT IS COSTLY TO UPDATE REGULARLY THAT BLOG, AND CANT BE BEARD BY MY FATHER, WHO IS UNEMPLOYED…
THEY TOLD ME THAT MY SITE IS POSING A THREAT TO THEM.I SAY YES.MY SITE IS POSING THREAT TO THEIR REVENUE BECAUSE I HAVE GAINED SOME MONEY.WHICH IS HARD EARNED BY ME.AND WHICH I AM ABOUT TO RECEIVE,BECAUSE THEY HAVE JUST DISPATCHED A PIN TO ME,THOUGH I HAVEN’T GET IT…
I HAVE MANY REPORTS THAT TOLD ME THAT GOOGLE CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT JUST WHEN YOU ABOUT TO ENCASH YOUR EARNINGS. ONE OF MY FRIEND HAVE SUFFERED IT AND FORBID ME TO USE GOOGLE ADSENSE. BUT I THOUGHT THAT MAYBE THERE ARE SOME MISUNDERSTANDINGS.BUT WHEN GOOGLE DISABLED MY ACCOUNT.I CAME TO KNOW THE TRUTH…
WITH THE POWER TO SPEAK FREELY.AT LEAST IN MY COUNTRY.I WOULD SAY THAT GOOGLE IS THE CHEATER.THEY CHEATS PEOPLE AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO USE THEIR SERVICES.AND KICK THEM WHEN THEY EARN ENOUGH MONEY BY THEIR HARD WORK FOR “GOOGLE” ITSELF.GOOGLE IS STEALING PUBLIC MONEY.AND WE ARE THE SUFFERER.FROM NOW ON I AM AGAINST GOOGLE.BECAUSE THEY ARE NOW IN EVERYWHERE I MAY NOT TRY TO USE THEIR SERVICE.BUT IF THERE IS SOME OTHER ALTERNATIVE I WILL USE THEM.AND THIS STARTS FROM THE DEFAULT SEARCH OPTION.WHICH I CHANGED TO YAHOO.
PLEASE HELP ME.BY SUPPORTING ME.PLEASE COMMENT SOME THING.I LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU.

From the site of "stason.org.............grievience against Google Adsense
"........ConclusionWhile I understand that there is a lot of click fraud going on, and realise that Google needs a way to fight it, this study case clearly shows that:Innocent are much more likely to be hurt because there is justice system in place. Google plays God here - sorry, we can't tell you why you are guilty and we don't need to prove it to you. Good bye. It's darn easy to bring someone's AdSense account to a closure by Google - just arrange a surge of clicks on someone's site. You've already heard of botnets, right? And you've heard of people cracking captchas by making other people do the typing, right? And probably 10,000 other ways. It's probably much harder to make a dent in bigger sites with a lot of traffic, so smaller sites are much more vulnerable, since it's much easier to create a burst of clicks and get it on the Google fraud team radar.I'm wondering about the following: Google prohibits the publishers to click ads on their own sites - but that's silly: what if I see an ad that I'm genuinely interested in? It's so easy to forget about that prohibition and click on the ad - and boom, you get banned. Or your co-worker sitting on the same IP clicks some ads - how could he know about the prohibition? I'm not talking about going all day around and click on your site's ads, I'm talking about clicking a few of them here and there - it won't make the publisher more than a few dozens of cents. Why Google Adsense can't just not account for those few clicks, rather than count them as a fraud? Simply change the contract to say: any clicks coming from your IP will not be accounted as a revenue. That'd certainly help a lot of people: both the publishers and the Google AdSense team.Another problem is that when Google disables your account you lose all your earnings so far, even those that have happened before the illegal activity (which hopefully wasn't done by you, which was the case with me). i.e. if my account wouldn't have been re-enabled those $100+ dollars would have been lost. Also after notifying me that the account is disabled, Google has continued serving ads on my site, until I've removed their javascript code after I realised that the appeal was just their way to show that they listen. I wonder who was getting paid for those clicks generated during that period. If they have considered the site to be illegally generating clicks, were the advertisers burning their money for nothing? So, the next time you get excited by all those books and sites touting Google Ads as your greatest source of revenue, think twice before you waste your time and energy on something that is *not* under your control and can be taken away by a malicious user in co-operation with Google AdSense team.Google AdSense is undeniably a great tool when it works, but I'd definitely love to have a better control over it......."

The Compaq dc7800 also comes with a stamp of approval from the EPEAT Gold registry for passing all the strict environmental requirements to make it environment-friendly.
The desktop PC is aimed for business users with a good design which fits the CPU on the back of the monitor (see photo).
The cost will be around Rs. 40,000 and it starts selling on the first of next month.

Apple Buys P.A. Semi for iPhone,
Apple has agreed to buy P.A. Semi, a boutique microprocessor design company, according to Forbes magazine. The deal is reportedly worth $278 million in cash.
Led by chip-industry veteran Dan Dobberpuhl, P.A. Semi is perhaps best known for its PWRficient processors for the multibillion-dollar high-performance embedded-computing markets. PWRficient 64-bit multicore processors aim to redefine power , cost and throughput efficiency in high-performance processing.
P.A. Semi's processors could provide advanced features in future iPods and iPhones.
Deja Vu for P.A. Semi
The acquisition may be a dream come true for P.A. Semi, as well as deja vu. When Apple was ready to dissolve its relationship with IBM and its PowerPC processors, P.A. Semi was the rumored heir apparent processor maker for the Mac. P.A. Semi is an active member in Power.org and leverages IBM's Power Architecture in its processors.
However, Apple selected Intel as its chipmaking partner for the Mac. This time around, it appears Apple CEO Steve Jobs is more concerned about a competitive advantage for the iPhone.
"P.A. Semi makes some great technology, very power-efficient and ideal for a variety of mobile devices. It does appear to be something of a slap in Intel's face. Intel is making such a big deal of its Atom processor, which is aimed at that same market," said Charles King, principal analyst at Pund-IT Research.
Nokia Tube
Is this the next Apple iPhone killer ? Well we really doubt it, but coming from Nokia we do expect it to cause some concern at the Apple Inc. camp. People are talking about this phone as one of the worthy candidates to give some competition to the iPhone.
A few features which look pretty certain are -
Wi-Fi
3G
GPS
Another option for HSDPA could be on the cards for this release, but no-one seems to be sure yet.
The Nokia Tube could be launched with a wide 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen even bigger than the iPhone, lets wait and watch for this one.

Motorola comes out with new MOTOROKR U9 for India
Jean Wyclef has launched the new MOTOROKR U9 model in india which comes with stereo bluetooth 4 and the newly introduced CrystalTalk technology.
The phone comes with a 25MB user memory and comes with a microSD card support. So you can put a nice 4GB card to store up your music and videos. The phone has Windows Media Player 11 for media playback.
The MOTOROKR U9 also has a 2 megapixel camera with multishot features and video recording abilities. Yatin Naik, the head of retail marketing, India for Motorola is confident that this handset will be a big hit among the young Indian mobile phone using crowd.
iPhone to be launched in September in India
Confirmed reports from plenty of sources that the 8GB iPhone from Apple is going to come to India (officially) in September. We have seen plenty of iPhones here on the streets of Bombay purchased from gray markets at a good price. The prices floating around for an iPhone in Mumbai are around Rs. 20,000 to 22,000, depending on your source.
The 8GB version will be officially launched in September this year for a price of Rs. 28,000, much more than the price in the US.
The phone will be launched with Vodafone and finally there will be a "legal" way to get your hands on this. Although we doubt many users would go this way :D
The 3-G iPhone: What To Expect
That Apple will release a new iPhone this summer seems almost certain. The rumor mill is grinding, and the evidence is trickling in, and if Apple’s iPod release schedule is anything to go by, we should expect an updated model 12 months after the last one.
So if we step back for a second and take a look at the collected “evidence” so far, what does it point to?
Radio
IPhone 2.0 will be 3-G. If it is to stand any chance in the as-yet-untapped Japanese market, a fast data connection is a must. The official line from both Apple and AT&T is that a 3-G iPhone will ship this year, and as two launches in one year are unlikely, we can only assume that there will be one international 3-G iPhone. Certainly, the Infineon chipset expected to power the new phone will work on both HSDPA and WCDMA networks, as well as continuing to support EDGE for customers outside of good 3-G coverage.
Camera
The iPhone’s camera sucks. It offers the user no more than the most basic functionality and only captures a measly two megapixels. It’s so bad that a range of unofficial software upgrades has already been released, adding new features and even video. The Infineon chipset mentioned above supports cameras of up to 5 megapixels and also video capture using Apple’s codec of choice, h.264. So more pixels and video seem very likely, but what of video calls? Apple’s Mac application iChat has had video conferencing for some time. It would be a perfect match for the iPhone’s big bright screen, but that would entail a second camera. I’d give this one a 50-50 chance.
Hardware
The current iPhone is so simple that it can hardly be improved. Expect the changes to be small, and then only cosmetic. It looks a little chunky next to the svelte iPod Touch, so the new model will likely be thinner. There are rumblings on the internet that the body will be black plastic instead of aluminum, which seems very unlikely. The current iPhone is surprisingly tough, so we’d expect Apple to stick to glass and metal. The only sure thing thing is that as soon as you see the new model, your old iPhone will look inexplicably clunky.
Software
Software is arguably the most important part of the iPhone. Ever since its launch last year, seemingly every cellphone maker has released a touchscreen phone. None of them comes close in ease of use, because none of them understands that the interface is everything.
The currently beta iPhone SDK shows us that the v2.0 operating system will be an incremental upgrade, adding niceties such as search and, if we’re lucky, copy-and-paste. With the iPod, Apple has often held new features back from older models in order to drive sales. Part of this is the accounting model it uses: In order to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley (or Oxshit) laws, Apple won’t add new features to old hardware. The iPhone, though, like the Apple TV, is accounted for on a subscription basis. Expect the v1.0 iPhone to run the exact same software as the new one, exempting features which utilize new hardware.
Now it’s your turn. What do you expect to see? Suggestions in the comments.
Internet Full of Cyberspace 'Black Holes'
Internet Full of Cyberspace 'Black Holes'
Friday, April 11, 2008
By Clara Moskowitz
You're pounding the keyboard, double-clicking away, sighing and grumbling, but to no avail: That devilish little hourglass icon refuses to give way to the Web site you're trying to reach.
Most Internet users have encountered trouble reaching online destinations, but they often attribute the problem to their wireless network cutting out or a server momentarily going down.
Sometimes, though, the problem is more mysterious.
At any given moment, messages throughout the world are lost to cyber black holes, according to new computer science research.
• Click here for FOXNews.com's Personal Technology Center.
Ethan Katz-Bassett, a graduate student in computer science at the University of Washington, and his advisor, Arvind Krishnamurthy, designed a program to continuously search for these strange Internet gaps, when a request to visit a Web site or an outgoing e-mail gets lost along a pathway that was known to be working before.
To make sure the black holes they detect are not simply due to a problem with the end user or the host server, they look for computers that can be reached from some, but not all, of the Internet, meaning the issue must be occurring en route.
"We were astounded when we did an initial four-month study and we saw how many problems there were," Katz-Bassett told LiveScience. "It seemed infeasible that this could be happening so often. They're definitely more common than we thought."
Now the team constantly monitors the Web for black holes and posts a map of where the problems are around the world at any given moment.
They hope their data will help Internet service providers track down the route of problems experienced on their networks.
"Network administers are definitely interested in it," Katz-Bassett said. "I think we need to do more analysis of the data and see where exactly these problems are occurring. It would be interesting to come up with predictions about where problems were most likely to occur."
The scientists named their monitoring system Hubble after the Hubble Space Telescope, which can also detect black holes, albeit the astrophysical kind.
They hope their data will help improve the consistency of the Internet, where we increasingly entrust vital information.
"I think we would like it to be more reliable," Katz-Bassett said. "It's orders of magnitude less reliable than the telephone network right now. I think it should be pretty possible to get it closer."
The researchers will present their findings at the Usenix Symposium on Networked Systems Design and Implementation being held next week in San Francisco.
The project was funded by the National Science Foundation.

AMD triple-core Phenom X3 review roundup
AMD triple-core Phenom X3 review roundupby Darren Murph, posted Apr 23rd 2008 atEngadget12:19PMFor the indecisive among us who need a bit more than two but just can't wrap their wallets around four, AMD's out to show you exactly what three cores of computing magic can do. Make no mistake, we've been waiting quite some time for these buggers to ship, but they've finally made it into the capable hands of reviewers web-wide. The general consensus seems to be that the tri-core processors offer no real surprises: it performs better than a dual-core AMD CPU, yet worse than a quad-core AMD CPU. Needless to say, it tends to lag even further behind an Intel quad-core. Still, the Phenom X3 wouldn't be a terrible option if quad-core Intel chips were still as pricey as ever, but with it slashing prices a few weeks back, the X3 seems to lack the value AMD was hoping we'd see. Still, don't take our word for it -- there's lots and lots of words on the matter right down there.Read - HotHardware (...the X3 8750 should also appeal to modders on a budget.)Read - MaximumPC (Basically, it's a quad core with one core turned off.)Read - TweakTown (...a perfect choice to replace Athlon 64 X2s...)Read - PCPerspective (...isn't a slam dunk in performance or value...)Read - Bit-Tech (...Phenom X3 8750 is a good processor in isolation...)Read - Computer Shopper (...a worthy choice for Athlon X2 owners on a tight budget...)
T-Mobile's Android enable phone.....
The first Android devices were always scheduled to arrive later this year, and while we'vealready seen a couple prototypes and hacked ports floating around, it looks like T-Mobile is the first out of the gate to confirm that it'll have phones based on Google's mobile OS. Speaking at the Wireless Innovations 2008 conference, T-Mo's VP of broadband and new business division Joe Sims said he'd played with an early version of T-Mobile's first Android phone and that it would ship in the fourth quarter of this year. Sims said that although he was initially skeptical of Android, he's now "impressed," and that T-Mobile would eventually have "more than one" Android phone. Now, if someone would just let us know what this magical phone actually is, we'd be happy -- HTC Dream, anyone?[Via IntoMobile]

Alienware's Updated Aurora Gaming Desktop
Starts at $999
Alienware has injected life into the Aurora line with a new gaming rig fitted with quad-core AMD Phenom 9850 processors, your choice of ATI Radeon 3870 X2, HD3850, or HD3870 graphics cards (single or CrossFire configuration), up to 4GB Dual Channel DDR2, and tons of HDD space. Naturally, tricking this thing out with all of the higher-end options is going to make the price ridiculous in a hurry, but a $999 base is about as good as it will get for an Alienware. 2. Now open web using the duplicate Profile and u will see that two gprs connections will work simultaneously and at the web or the services page it will show "Unable to connect" or any error. well thats the signal of ur success.
3. Simply go on the Opera with web on and open any site u want for free. No Charges No nothing.
U can also use it through ur computer..........
someone said dis too
The main principle behind this is we hav 2 fool the bsnl techies 2 activate portal and thus get gprs activated / get "G" signal on ur cell as bsnl portal (wap.cellone.in) needs "gprs signal on ur cel (whether gprs is formaly activated/registerd or not (by my method )i dont know)
NORMALLY THEY DONT DO THAT INSPITE OF THE FACT THAT THEY SHOULD ACTIVATE GPRS SIGNAL SERVICE FOR PORTAL!!!
AND THEY WILL GIVE U NO OF REASONS----
---THAT portal is message based , so go to cellone icon in menu and use that sms based portal (what the f**k)
---THAT portal service will be activated when u will activate gprs by filling up form and registering at nearest CCN!!
---THAT ur handset has some problems (if u say that "G" signal is not present)
----etc,etc!!
U HAVE 2 ACTIVATE PORTAL FIRST WHICH IS FREE AND U CAN EAT UP CC'S FOR THIS REASON!!
SO WHAT U HAV 2 DO IS--
1) SEND PORTAL to 3733 AND CONFIRMATION SHD COME WITH 5 MIN AT-MAXIMM !!
2) SEND FOR ATLEAST 20-30 TIMES (CAN B ANY MORE THAN THAT)
JUST S**K UP THE NETWORK(3733) WITH THESE MESSAGES !!!
THAT'S FREE NO!! BOTH ON POST AND PRE!!
3) NOW ALONG ALSO SEND 20-40 SMS AS GPRS TO 3733
(NO OF SMS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL 2 HATE FOR BSNL AND HOW EARLY U WNAN GET UR GPRS ACTIVATED) this is also free both on post and pre!!
4) U WILL GET CONFIRMATION IN BOTH CASES AND MSG TELLS U 2 GET SETTINGS FROM 9400024365, THE NO OF CC!!
HERE AT MY PLACE I CAN DIAL 9419024365 ALSO!
BOTH R TOLL FREE AND BOTH R LOCATED IN CHANDIGARH!!!
(((((((AND SOME OF THE CC'S SAY they cant give such sensitive information that where they r located, as if thay have a 3 rd world of their own! and the other dumbs said that they r in chandigarh!!!!)))))
I WOULD ADVISE ALL FIRST, 2 call them once 2 get the settings!!
(most of the times that is incorect but gives u an idea of settings in ur area))
Try and in ur 1 st call only,
talk roughly and tell them u r calling 10-20th time just for settings and is that their service!!!
5) Now when u get them save them AND plz post them here!!!
6) now GET ATLEAST 2-3 COMPLAINTS REGISTERED( each after 1 day) THAT UR PORTAL HAS NOT ACTIVATED AND GET THEIR SERIAL NO.
and in the end bombard them abt the status of all those complaints !!
b4 registering ur complaint they will hesitate much and always say taht they will b sendin new settings which r accurate! but dont belive them and just register complaints!!
6)AFTER THAT, u have 2 only wait until "G" signal is there on ur screen!!
LOOK, WHAT I HAVE WRIITEN ABV IS METHOD by which i got activated my "G" service !!! without fillin any form or such and without any money drain!!
may be since it bypasses the formal way of registeration, that is why this trick is working !!!!!!!!!!!!
U may also Try this
first open ur msg window and type LIVE and send it to 2567 so that after 5 min u get the setting of Airtel Live or if u have already no need for this procedure.
now then open that setting and copy all the settings from it and create one access point manually which has all the settings like Airtel Live has.
now only one change will be there and it would be in access point name which is "Airtelmms.com" instead of originally "Airtelgprs.com".
ok u've done it just active that setting and access free airtel gprs on ur phone.
Another Trick
somya_cseYou need a PC or a Laptop and the required connectivity tools ,ie.,
Serial/USB cable OR Infrared Device OR Bluetooth dongle
1) Activate Airtel Live! ( It’s FREE so no probs)
2) Create TWO Airtel gprs data accounts (yep TWO) and select the

3) Connect your mobile to the PC (or Laptop) and install the driver for

4) Create a new dial-up connection using the NEW CONNECTION

9) After a few seconds the page will start to load
main thing is the advance initialization command.
BSNL Free GPRS Internet Hack
Logic: the server has a major bug in it, by which it fails to block two simultaneous connections from the phone and
establishes a connection with full internet working,
Supported devices: all phones with multichannel gprs support
For connection on your mobile phone.
1) Make two connections like BSNL111 and BSNL222
2) Select the application you got to have the full connection working on.
Surpassingly “web” now just select “BSNL111” profile and select a link like wap.cellone.in the page will get open,
just press the red button such that the “web” application goes in the background.
Make sure that the gprs connection is still established with the web app.
Two parallel lines on the top left of the screen will confirm this
3) Now open any other app that requires web connection like opera. Select BSNL222 and open any other link like
wap.google.com, u will get AN error.
the aim of using the other app is to perform multi-channel gprs,
this is verified by seeing some dots on the pre-existing connection established by “web”
ACCESS DENIED.
Technical description:
403 Forbidden - You are not allowed to communicate with the requested resource.”
4) close opera and open web and open a site like esato.com
5) if everything is done as said here then esato will load and THTS IT! We have the whole internet!
For connection on pc.
1)create a connection and enter the number to be dialed as *99***1#
2) enter the string as extra initialization command
3)now dial from pc, the connection will be established
4)pick the phone and open “web” open “wap.cellone.in” the phone shows error .
5) close “web” and then from the browser open
and thts it ! The whole intenet is here .
settings for profiles
apn: celloneportal
ip: 192.168.51.163

leave other fields blank as they are of the least concern!
the browser settings on pc 2 go the same as mentioned above!

Despite deadlines, Windows XP to be sold a few more years
Yes it is true in fact that the vista is the history's most biggest blunder. So despite all "last day for enjoying your old XP" thing the Giant.corp aka Microsoft has extended Windows XP's deadline.Because more & more people was using XP over Vista.the Company took this decision. As a Proud XP user myself i can say that XP is not a Old Grandpa.Because it is as fast & efficient as Vista, it can do most of the general task with ease.If the direct X 10 (Now 10.1) issue is overlooked, the XP is as fine as Vista, without any massive hardware upgrade anyone can use this OS.

Nokia WiMAX N810 Released........
The WiMAX version of Nokia's N810 internet tablet has already popped up on Nokia's European site, lending creedence to all those whispers about a CTIA debut tomorrow, and now we've got units showing up in the wild, which is probably a good sign. There were apparently some other shots of this bad boy on Flickr, but they've since been removed -- let's hope tomorrow brings us some official beauty shots, eh?
Palm Centro The Magical Machine....
Palm's miniscule and wallet-friendly Centro has managed to reach one million units sold since its launch last September. It got its legs working as Sprint and AT&T's gateway smartphone at that fantastic $99 pricepoint, and now it's making a bid for world domination in major markets in Europe and Asia. The one million sales have it nipping at the heels of recent superstar smartphones, the two million plus HTC Touch and the four million plus iPhone, not bad company in the least.

Cubans can now use cell phones, in 2008
Cubans can now use cell phones, in 2008by Julio Franco on March 31, 2008, 7:24 AM | (2comments)Cubans can now use cell phones, in 2008Forgive me for the remark on the title above, but yes, it's 2008 and the Cuban government has just now lifted a restriction on cell phone usage to its citizens. Before last Friday, when new President Raul Castro announced the change, only foreigners and government employees were allowed the use of mobile phones.Without touching on the politics behind the story, it's an amazing fact how Cuba had lagged so behind - measured in years, if not decades - on adopting technologies that for so many of us have become things of need or plain assumption on a day to day basis. Along with this change, Cubans will be allowed to buy computers and DVD players next month, those were also restricted items under the previous Castro regime. Now the only problem with all these great news, is that Cubans will have to pay "hard currency" for the items, this is because the normal currency used in the island is worth nearly nothing in global terms. The population then has to rely on cash remittances sent by relatives living abroad or the money tourists leave on the island for acquiring these very expensive services.

Tech2 Exclusive: India May Ban Facebook, Orkut and Foreign Social Networking Sites
Close on the heels of the recent directive to telecom operators to provide for lawful interception of Blackberry and other encrypted messaging services, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has now asked Social Networking sites based outside India to fall in line.
"Sites such as Orkut and Facebook allow for heavily encrypted exchanges of information", a highly placed source at the MHA told Tech2.com. MHA officials are believed to be especially worried about the phenomenon of "scraps" and "pokes" respectively on these two sites.
"Imagine if applications such as SuperPoke fell into the hands of anti-national and anti-social (no pun intended) elements", remarked a senior MHA official who did not wish to be named. "The consequences could be disastrous, especially considering the lack of sufficient monitoring of Indian users' walls," he warned.
Intelligence operatives are of the belief that Jehadi terror cells could work out a sophisticated system of communication by "throwing sheep" at each other using a site such as Facebook.com whose servers the Indian government cannot access. The government has asked all Indian social networking sites such as BigAdda.com, Yaari.com and Minglebox.com to maintain records of all user activity including "change of status, profile picture, favorite sitcoms etc." in keeping with the law of the land.
It seems that unless their overseas counterparts such as the big two as well as other popular sites such as Hi5, Bebo, LinkedIn and MySpace reach an agreement with Indian authorities on making user data originating and terminating in the country available on demand, they could soon be blocked by local Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
A spokesperson for ISPAI (ISP Assoc of India) clarified that preliminary talks had been held in this regard and ISPs had begun making preparations to block networking sites in the event of an official directive being issued. The ISPAI executive also sheepishly (no pun intended there either) admitted to tech2.com that he was in the process of figuring out a way to export his Facebook friend list to ibibo.com.
Spokespersons for both Google, which owns Orkut.com and Facebook declined to comment till they received any directives in writing. However along with Yahoo, AOL and MSN, both companies were adamant that "the privacy of our users is of the greatest importance to us" though special considerations were being made for "countries in which the growth potential of the market outweighed the prospect of challenging draconian security laws".
A senior NASSCOM official welcomed the move though she admitted that the industry was worried less about the security implications and more about the alarming decline in productivity. "Young engineers 'on the bench' at IT companies seem to be spending more time on Web 2.0 sites like Twitter, Digg & Last.fm instead of improving, for instance their SAP implementation skills," said the official.
"God forbid if all this online socializing actually translates into a real social life for young techies", sighed the worried official.

Google Watch : Google Sued for AdSense Fraud
Google Watch : Google Sued for AdSense FraudGoogle Sued for AdSense FraudTheresa Bradley A would-be AdSense customer is suing Google for $250,000 because it took her 100 hours to place and review AdSense advertisements on her Web site, which Google subsequently removed, Google Watch has learned. In a 25-page complaint filed earlier this week in San Francisco federal district court, Theresa B. Bradley, a management consultant and resident of Washington, D.C. accuses Google of several counts of fraud and misrepresentation, including misrepresentation in commercial advertising, and of "willfull, wanton, fraudulent and malicious" conduct regarding its AdSense product. The suit also alleges misrepresentation in interstate commerce.Bradley, owner of Brava Corp., alleges that her staff spent 100 hours placing and reviewing HTML code for Google AdSense on www.bravacorp.com. Once the code was placed, Bradley asked Google to remove several competing AdSense advertisements, as per the AdSense user agreement. Bradley vs GoogleAccording to the complaint, Google then completely removed AdSense from Bradley's site and accused Bradley of violating AdSense policies by fraudulently clicking on advertisements.Bradley denied clicking on the ads except to verify that the advertisers were not selling competing products. The AdSense terms of service prohibit customers from clicking on their own ads. Google provides a Preview Tool that helps customers judge the quality of AdSense advertisements on their site.Bradley did not return several requests for comment. Google responded only by saying the suit is without merit and that the company would defend itself vigorously.According to the complaint, Bradley's brief business relationship with Google caused her irreparable harm by damaging her reputation and the reputation of her products and
services.Bradley's Web site offers nutritional supplements, home spa rituals, and soft support women's jog bras, among other products. There is no shopping cart mechanism, and the site asks users to "visit us at a later date."According to her site, Bradley's "illustrative clients" include Kellogg-Brown and Root, Halliburton, The Wall Street Journal, Bear Stearns and Company, and the Catholic Diocese of Arlington, Va.Bradley apparently also helps hire engineers for deployment to Iraq, hires engineers for Hurricane Katrina relief and provides mental health services for children 0-7 years of age.Bradley also filed suit against Yahoo on August 1 in San Jose federal district court. Those documents were not available at the time of this writing. A Yahoo representative declined to comment.
Update #1: I've noticed that a lot of people are saying this is a publicity stunt. I can't say for sure that's the case, since Bradley never returned my calls, but I don't think that assumption is correct. She sued Yahoo on August 1st and Google on August 28, but never returned a phone call from me and never sent out any press releases. I found the lawsuit in court records. In addition, Bradley doesn't seem to have any way of monetizing any attention she receives from this. I think it's important to understand the difference between publicity seeking (such as the ClickDefense class action lawsuit) and a case such as this, which clearly makes the plaintiff look ridiculous.
Update #2: There are some funny threads on this lawsuit at WebmasterWorld, Geek Village and the DigitalPoint Forums.
Update #3: Theresa Bradley called me this morning to confirm the lawsuit. She informed me that she had an addendum to the complaint and would forward such via e-mail, but had to get off the phone before I could inquire further. I'll let you know when I've heard more.

12:19PMFor the indecisive among us who need a bit more than two but just can't wrap their wallets around four, AMD's out to show you exactly what three cores of computing magic can do.
